The Main Dua After Ablution

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"Whoever performs Wudu’ thoroughly and then recites this supplication, the eight gates of Jannah (Paradise) will be opened for him, and he may enter through any gate he wishes:"

Transliteration:
Ash-hadu al lā ilaha illallāhu wahdahū lā sharīka lahū, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhū wa rasūluh.
Meaning:
"I testify that there is no true god except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and I testify that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and Messenger."

(Sahih Muslim 234)

Additional Supplication After Wudu

You can further enhance the dua by adding this supplication:

Arabic Text:
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ
Transliteration:
Allāhummaj ‘alnī minat tawwābīna, waj’alnī minal mutatahhirīn.
Meaning:
"O Allah, make me among those who repent and purify themselves."

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 55)

Reciting these supplications after ablution not only brings spiritual rewards but also serves as a reminder of the virtues of purity and repentance in Islam. Let this practice be a means to draw closer to Allah and earn His infinite mercy.
